Santa Clara Valley Audubon Society (SCVAS) is one of the largest, most active, and respected of the over 500 chapters of the National Audubon Society (NAS). By becoming a supporting member of our chapter, you are helping our local conservation efforts, youth environmental education programs (many of them for disadvantaged public schools), and citizen science efforts.

SCVAS is an independent chapter with its own membership, budget, and programs. We receive only a minimal stipend from NAS that does not even cover our Avocet newsletter, let alone our many programs.

Donating Benefits our Communities

Your tax-deductible donation allows SCVAS to increase the number of youngsters, many from low income families, that we reach with our local science education programs. Your donation dollars also support our many conservation efforts that make us one of the most effective conservation organizations in the Bay Area.
