Monterey Bay Whale and Bird Watching

Description: Join us for an incredible day of whale watching and birding aboard the Star of Monterey. We'll be looking for Blue Whales, Humpback Whales, Sea Otters, and dolphins, along with some amazing seabirds - shearwaters, jaegers, skuas, albatross, and alcids. Birds of the Farallon Islands

with Alvaro's Adventures

Date: Saturday, August 12, 2017; 7:00AM-approx. 5:00PM

Location: Half Moon Bay (Princeton Harbor)

Fee: $135/person

Description: A summer trip to the Farallon Islands conjures up images of Great White Sharks and Humpback Whales. While we hope to encounter the entire breadth of ocean life the islands have to offer, we'll be going for nesting seabirds. We're hoping to see Tufted Puffins, Common Murres, Pigeon Guillemot, Cassin's Auklet, Black-footed Albatross, and more! Join us for an unforgettable experience. This is an approximately 10-hour trip, with a deep-water visit off the Continental Shelf on the return.
